Our hair is not only a symbol of strength, vitality and sensuality, it’s also an expression of personal style. Cutting your hair is not a trivial act. It can be a way to renew yourself, to break the bonds of the past.

We designed Beads of Light as a bespoke necklace for a woman adapting to a new reality following the loss of her hair due to an illness. Wishing to hold onto a symbol embodying her femininity, we sculpted strings of pearls linked together by a weaving made with her hair. Integrated into the necklace, these strands symbolize her grace and her inner strength.

For support during this transition and to give life to Beads of Light, the necklace is created during an intimate ceremony with her sisters and close friends. In assembling the beads together, they are able to share their love and well wishes for their friend, reminding her of her inner strength, femininity and resilience.
